11.18.07 Today’s work- The Reaper! (1st sitting)

Aw, I should have gone to see the YOUNG WEREWOLVES tonight. The other show I went to check out was pretty disappointing. But I’m home early, so that’s a good thing… Weekend public transportation at night is really creepy. I’m glad I got to avoid that, but now I’m super bored! Damn… Maybe it is time to get myself a TV.

So, I’m turning 30 soon. Three o. Wow. Which means I have been tattooing for almost 4 yrs. Time sure fly fast. I’ve been working for Gemini Tattoo for 6 1/2 yrs now. I probably won’t say this in person and at loud, but people at Gemini are great. I couldn’t ask for anybody better than them. Clients as well… NE Philly rules! *thanks*

K, so about the tattoo. I think the eye socket is bit weak. I think I’ll go back and line it or add little more shading to help define the break of planes better. Also shade into the cape more to increase shadow mass. Lastly, white highlight will be added for the teeth etc. That’s all I can think about for now…

spider, spider web, butterfly, free-hand tattoo

This piece has full of story. It’s not mine to tell, so if you ever spot this tattoo ask him. And he just might tell you… or not. Haha, tattoos are personal stuff for most people, sometimes it has meaning, sometimes it doesn’t. Some of my tattoos are downright stupid. Whatever it is behind the image, one truth is that there is a personal history.

11.8.07 Dali’s Clock

Thank you for your patience, Mr.M. Today was the last sitting and all the small detail was touched up, refined, and defined. It was really awesome project with tons of color. I had to take my hat off for his classy choice in this theme…  P.S. Good luck with everything!

11.8.07 One more sitting to go… (bird, swallow, rose, roses)

One more sitting to go, Mr.M.  I think roses need mid tone of grey and add more fullness.  Same goes for the rose at the bottom.   Also add various shad of grey in the background to add depth…

I can’t wait to tattoo/hung out w you!

11.7.07 Pirate ships

Ship fight! Top left will be filled with stomy sky and sun lays. It will fill the space as well as it will balance the whole act. Oh, and more ropes, lots more ropes!! One more sitting to go. P.S. Mr.K, please be careful this time…
