WordPress 2.7 conquered

After 2days of tyring uploading, FTPing, it kept giving me the “fatal error” stubbornly.
Seems like a lot of people had some issue with this upgrade. I know i did. Anyone who needs to upgrade to wordpress2.7, after getting error ( mine was “Fatal error: Call to undefined function: wp_user_settings() in /home/tattoos1/public_html/blog/wp-admin/admin-header.php on line 3), try uploading the whole zip file to the directly, extract it and then rename the new folder, copy or move contents such as upload folder, plugins etc.
Individually uploading or FTPing seems to leave files behind. Also it is a tedious process to go thorough all files to catch one that it have missed. So, yeah, try uploading the zip folder and extract.
Good luck!

I’m feeling kinda bummed. Wait, waaay tooo bummed. I’m supposed to love my job but I feel like calling it quits. I know, I know, it happens to everyone at one time or another. Plus bills won’t stop so it won’t be an option… Wish my aptitude for work is one hundred percent instead of fifty.
First of all, I’m expecting some serious shit talk anyways for being, how can i put it, a cry baby?
ugh. Embarrassing but oh well. Humiliation and anxiety will pass eventually.
Sometimes I really miss the ease of non people job. I’d go in, do my job and maybe answer to one boss or two. Nothing personal here but dealing with many different characters everyday can get a little stressful.
Hats off to seasoned pro who just sucks it up, comes to work and does their jobs… I can’t even draw anything right now. I need a insensitive nerve as thick as some 100yr old tree trunk. I wish i was a loud obnoxious “nah ah, you didn’t” kind a gal. *sigh*
(That reminds me… Richie told me what you said, Matt. You are so right!)
(And that also reminds me, thank you for the DVD with all the awesome songs Steve. Its putting me in a better mood
)
Productivity zero. Non-creativity as well as non professional blog content level, one hundred percent.
addressing my site issues

My new blog apparently is a CPU hog. Thus it was suspended from my server for a day. Bluehost guys were pretty helpful that 3 passed midnight calls, they got my site back on.
Apparently the issue seems like the amount of PHP scripts. I’ve reduced a few in the last couple hours as i went through all my codes. Hopefully it would help limit the CPU usage.
Found many article about WP=CPU destroyer and all, I may have to spend some more time refining the site again. The site was running just the way I liked it but I guess I have to simplify a lot! :/
I might have another domain soon just to host my calender and links to social network etc. As soon as it is done, I’ll post the update
That’s gonna be my Christmas project. yup.

Lazy Susan. what a strange name for a twisty swively turning ball bearing gadget.
I want a couple of these to put it under my laptop while working. Swivel your computer with a soft nudge of a finger?
Awesome.
Off to Home-depot as today is my errands day.
Seriously, no one there (4people that i got to talk to) knew what “Lazy Susan” is. First, I had to explain what it is (”you know the turn table thing in a cabinet or Chinese restaurant? that metal parts underneath?”) and second, they weren’t sure where or if they even carried it. One dude kindly send me to painting department… Thanks…., sigh.
Phished.

Ugh, that some foreign country jerks got me. A little while ago, I was gonna download what seems like a legitimate office software and it lead to me a porn site. i canceled the subscription right away but they hit me with a whole bunch of small charges for 9 different times if i recall. Including a foreign ATM fee etc. Well, there’s always first time for anything. (Thank god, the bank will refund me the money.)
They were pretty clever though. This is how they did it.
1. get you to sign up for a trial of software
2. you get your pass for the site and key for download
3. type in passes and the keys ( >>>even though all i suppose to need is one set)
4. psych! its a effin porn sites :/
5. you try to cancel trial by calling every number (well, just one) and try to find a live help (of cause, none)
6. after going through every single options, numerous 1s and 2s and #keys, automated message tells you the trial subscription is canceled.
7. you get an email for confirmation of cancellation
8. week later finds lots of charges made in your account by 3 different company. (remember the #3? i was directed and signed up to 3 different billing companies. how clever.)
And I thought I was a safe Internet consumer. Well, they got me.

Erasing Tattoos, Out of Regret or for a New Canvas
Axel Koester for The New York Times
Just a year ago, Ms. Brannigan, 24, who holds up Case No. 24 as one of the models on the NBC game show “Deal or No Deal,” had been full of hope when she and her fiancé had each other’s names tattooed across their inner wrists.
But now, when she looks at the letters — P-A-T-R-I-C-K — she is reminded of the failed relationship.
For help, she turned to Dr. Tattoff, a chain of tattoo removal stores where nurses use lasers in a series of treatments to break down tattoo pigments. Dr. Tattoff is part of a growing industry catering to people who may not have thought about the implications of “forever” the first time around.

Local tattoo removal programs offer former gang members a blank slate
By Matthew Singer 04/10/2008
Of all the tattoos Sharon Troll has seen in her life — and, despite her pleasant demeanor, she has seen a lot — none irritate her more than the three little dots. Which is surprising, considering some of the grotesque illustrations that walk through the doors of the West Ventura Urgent Care Center every month to take advantage of the Boys & Girls Club’s Tattoo Removal Program. Demonic skulls, spiders, naked women, various gang insignia, swastikas and neo-Nazi lightning bolts, etched everywhere from between the fingers to the back of the head, are frequent sights. But when Troll sees that tiny, triangular formation, signifying mi vida loca (“my crazy life”) in the visual language of Latino street gangs, she insists it come off first.

Tattoo Removal: What works and what doesn’t.
There must be a lot of people out there trying to remove their tattoos. I got some emails from people wanting to talk with my friend who did the tattoo removal story, to ask her what her advice would be now that it’s over. So I talked with her and did quite a bit some research on my own about removing tattoos. The bottom line is that laser tattoo removal works. It can take 3-8 sessions, sometimes more, depending on how old the tattoo is, the kind of ink, and other factors. But laser tattoo removal does work. It breaks up the ink particles so that the immune system can carry them away. It’s also expensive. It could cost you anywhere from $250- over $1000 to get your tattoo removed. Also, not every tattoo will definitely disappear 100%. But laser tattoo removal is definitely the strongest and most effective option. A sister approach is Intense Pulsed Light Therapy…. >>>read more…
My Tattoo Removal Story: One woman’s journey to becoming tattoo-free
A few months ago, one slightly intoxicated night, I apparently consented (and even paid!) to have a tattoo jackhammered into my upper arm. I [heart] Cass. The tattoo guy dug out a nice bright red heart. How cute!) What an unpredictable turn of events that scarcely two weeks later, Cassidy decided his love for me was mostly out of appreciation that I introduced him to my now ex-best friend. How cute!
Even before Cass upgraded to a more upscale model, I felt embarrassed and awkward for those two weeks, about declaring my love for him on my arm. But once we were over, embarrassment turned to humiliation. I clearly had to lose my tattoo.
So I googled tattoo removal to check out my options. Basically, it was pretty straight forward
