I honestly think we had pretty instant rapport.
Hope she had fun time getting tattooed and enjoys the tattoo just as much
No offence guys but there is definitely something about working with girls.  Its  a tiny bit more comfortable and easy for me.  All and all there are little bit more male  population than female population and I miss talking about girl stuff sometimes, you know?

Arizona sun & landscape tattoo

I’ve been meaning to post this one for a while now. we are in 4 or 5 sittings now.
Theme is Arizona land scape. I’m keep asking him to add a smiley face in the middle of sun but he has declined my request politely. Its just so tempting against the yellow. Smiley face would be so much fun, don’t you think?

rose&water girl

This is one of David Bolt (fine/tattoo flash/tattoo artist) piece brought in by the client.
Just in case if you cannot tell, it is a very large piece that fills the thigh.
It was a sketch, so we chose the color. we had bit of hard time choosing the little lizard guys color even until the last minute…

I think we had great time chatting about lots of random stuff

shiva [update]

First thing first. Thank you Ms K for being super tough!
I didn’t even feel like I was tattooing someones rib area.
She made my job super easy!

The last sitting was awesome.
Other client who was getting tattooed at the same time/different station had the funniest story.
We were all cracking up for the longest.  At one point, I was pretty much forced to stop tattooing because we were all laughing so hard and I was in tears laughing.

The shop can be quiet at times but today was different.  Waaay different with much laughter involved.  Tattoos with serious meanings are great and all, but its also nice to get tattooed just for the hell of it.  So we can spend more time laughing…

We are in the 3rd sitting now. Added ring of fire all around  this time and finished the body.

Last sitting will be adding all the small items and a touch up.

Too bad this photo doesn’t show you the “fool”  under the Shiva (being stepped on).

He definitly adds a good element for the whole image. lol.  I’ll include it in the next photo

[update] added more color. we are in 3rd sittings now. next time, more color will be added for the fallen leaf and some more red in koi…

UPDATE- MERMAID TATTOO

[ update] added color and voila, finished. i was going to add the mermaid vertically against the arm. But somehow by accident we placed the stencil sideways and realized it looks way better that way… by the way if you cannot tell, this is “inside” of arm, respectfully.  This piece is really big and it would in fact wrap around and connect easily. he can lift about 4 of me combined. how about that for a thought? that being said, hi tank! see you when you come back

Started last week. She is a add on to Neptune tattoo on the arm to complete the half sleeve. Neptune is on my banner at the site entrance. W lightnings and all To be continued.

Bold eagle/coverup [update]

Can you find a panther head in here somewhere?  The cover up worked out great. As you can see from the previous post, Two tattoos got a cover-up. With this tattoo, i definitely got lucky.  His skin holds the white pigment  really well. Making the whole coverup process so much easier too! Very fun tattoo. I enjoyed working on it   [posted on 1/9/2009]

Here is the sketch/concept.  Eagle tattoo is super exciting! I guess bird tattoos in general is fun. Also flowers are fun too. Speaking of birds, I saw two pigeons cuddling in front of their nest on the way to work It was definitely “awww” moment. How cute.
