ok this phoenix tattoo is WICKED – most that I see are just not detailed enough – they look so cartoonish and simple this one is almost EXACTLY what I’m looking for (I just want to get mine done with a lot of color) even the location on the ribcage is what I want to (eventually) have done

do you think if I send you an email you could quote me for a sketch … something similar maybe just a bit more girly (I was thinking of incorporating some flowers into the design somehow)You are incredible!

@lamb: thank you for a very humbling comment. i am always making effort to improve my art. i guess 5yrs in art school was not enough for me. any suggestion to whom i can learn from?

also half the time when i get a comment form the UK- i believe you are from CORK religion, last guy was from CALNE, comments are nasty. you really need to learn some manners. NE Philly has a huge Irish population but really i can’t even compare how awesome these guys are!

that tattoo is simply amazing. I’ve been wanting a tattoo for a long time, but could never find a nice design of a phoenix. they all looked too tame, too sweet, too girlish. (not the mention the designs were way too simple or cartoonish) I wanted a phoenix which looked wilder, proud but a bit shy and ofcourse elegant. This one seems to have that all. I would love to let you make me a tattoo, too bad I live in the netherlands.

Hey, I’ve got a tattoo booked and I’m also getting a phoenix about the same size, it’ll be similar in the sense that it’s more realistic and not cartoony too. I was just wondering how long did this tattoo take? Did you do it all in one sitting?
